When I first came
to the UK I had intended to go to a different School. My
sister asked me to look at the other colleges before I committed
myself to the London School of Law. I found that the administrative
staff were helpful. It was then I decided to apply.
In the six months I have been
at the London School of Law, I have found the staff are
as enthusiastic about teaching as are students at learning.
The staff have helped me with my problems even those that
were not academic related.

Today,
education is considered a necessity and law, being the foundation
of society, is ideal for anyone who wishes to workin industry,
commerce or to venture into practice.Like any other student
going abroad, I was sceptical of many things, including
the (then the unheard of) London Schoolof Law. However,
within a few weeks of studying at the college, all my fears
and scepticism of the college provedunfounded. The college's
Principal and administrative staff understood the problems
that students have, and were bothsupportive and encouraging
whenever the need arose. This, complemented together with
dedicated lecturers and small sized classes, proved an ideal
and conducive atmosphere for both study of Law and the interaction
of students.
The non-profit nature of the college
demanded that it charged low fees, but at the same time
the college understood thisshould never compromise the quality
of the teaching. It is therefore natural that the London
School of Law should be an obvious choice for anyone wishing
to pursue the LL.B Degree.

School of Law is an ideal Institution for students studying
law in the U.K. There is no need to travel hours by the
'Tube' to attend college as accommodation around the college
is cheap. The time saved on travelling can be utilised for
study purposes and other recreational needs. The institution
conducts Law courses in smaller groups, which means the
student receives more attention and time both during the
lectures and the tutorials.
I found this to be the plus point
when I studied for the Bar Examinations at the London School
of Law. We were able to stop the lecturer at any stage when
we had trouble understanding certain points.
We had only 7 students in our class
and ALL those who sat for the examinations either passed
or had a conditional pass.
The lecturers were extremely well prepared for the lectures
and some of them even conducted surprise tests. Tutorialsand
test papers were marked promptly and the lecturers had the
time to go through the papers with each student to identifythe
mistakes and weaknesses. Revision courses and mock examinations
were extremely useful preparing for the Bar Examinations.
I take this opportunity to thank the staff and the lecturers
of the London School of Law and wish them success in the
yearsto come.

When
I first attended your seminar in Malaysia I was doubtful
of the college's ability to provide proper guidancein this
demanding University of London External Degree in Law.
I am glad that my results have proved me wrong! Your emphasis
on a small study group ensures that every student participates
in class discussions and this has enabled me to sharpen
my examination skills and has given me a great understanding
of the subjects taught.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your
team of lecturers on an excellent job and hope that ourfuture
students will benefit from your teaching method as I did.
