Overseas Students : Immigration and Visas


The school will assist students with their Visa application and will be happy to answer any queries. Once you have enrolled for a full time course, you will receive a letter of acceptance. You will also need to show the UKimmigration officer that you have sufficient money to support your stay in the UK. If you have any problems when you arriveat the airport, contact the School immediately.

Bank Account References:

The School can help you open a bank account on arrival and provide the necessary references.

Health Care:

If your course lasts more than six months, you will be eligible for free medical treatment under the UK National HealthService. All students must register with a local doctor. If your course is less than six months, it may be necessaryto make a private arrangement.

Careers Advice:

Students are offered advice on the choice of course and guidance in their future career. Overseas students are able, with appropriate permission from the Secretary of State for Employment, to work part-time to supplement their living expenses,provided it does not interfere with their studies.

The school will assist students in obtaining the appropriate permission and advice on how to find a part-time job. It hasto be noted that to work part-time is not a right, i.e. students coming to the UK, must have adequate funds to meet theirexpenses.

Cost of Living in London:

The cost of living in London for the current year has been estimated at £6,600 for a single student. A breakdown of the figure may be obtained from the School Administration.

Photocopying Facilities :


Students may avail themselves of photocopying facilities provided by the school at a reasonable charge.

Student Library :

The school provides a library service open to all its students. Students may become members and borrow books recommended by their lecturers. In addition to this service, there is a large public library within walking distance and students are encouraged to become members.

Accommodation:

The school is able to assist students in finding suitable accommodation. Once they have completed their registration,accommodation can be arranged with private landlords at their request. The rent for economic accommodation varies from£60 to £80 per week. You must inform the School at least 4 weeks in advance of your intended date of traveland forward an amount of £300 as deposit for the reservation of your accommodation.
